Answer from 2025 FDD Document

  1. Payment Period and Method. We may, in our sole discretion, change your payment schedule with respect to the Royalty Fee and any other amounts due to us or our affiliates under your Franchise Agreement (i.e., modifying monthly payment to weekly), or require you to use any other method of payment, upon thirty (30) days written notice to you. Currently, all fees are collected via GoCardless, and you must take all necessary steps to authorize us and GoCardlessto automatically collect fees from you. We may integrate a payment processing feature into our Business Management Software in the future. If we do, you will be required to use that for payment processing, and you will be responsible for all monthly terminal fees and payment processing fees.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, currently all fees are collected via GoCardless. A franchisee must take all necessary steps to authorize Spray Net and GoCardless to automatically collect fees.

Spray Net retains the right to modify the payment schedule for Royalty Fees and other amounts owed by the franchisee, potentially changing monthly payments to weekly. They can also require franchisees to use a different payment method, providing 30 days' written notice. Spray Net may integrate a payment processing feature into their Business Management Software in the future, and if implemented, franchisees would be required to use it and be responsible for any associated monthly terminal and payment processing fees.

If a Spray Net franchisee fails to input prospect or client information, contracts, or other documents into the required business management system software, or underreports Gross Sales, revenue, or other information into that software system, Spray Net reserves the right to charge an enforcement fee. The current enforcement fee is $500 for each instance of non-compliance. Additionally, late payments are subject to delinquency charges and interest at a rate of 18% per year, or a higher rate if permitted by law, along with a $500 late fee and a $50 fee for any dishonored checks or failed electronic transfers.
