Spray_Net Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If approved to establish a separate website, Franchisee shall comply with Franchisor's policies, standards and specifications with respect to the creation, maintenance and content of any such website.

Franchisee specifically acknowledges and agrees that any website owned or maintained by or for the benefit of Franchisee shall be deemed "advertising" under this Agreement, and will be subject to (among other things) Franchisor's approval as described in this Section 9.

Franchisee may not promote or otherwise list its Franchised Business, or the Proprietary Marks or System, on any social media or networking site, including without limitation, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter or YouTube, without Franchisor's prior written consent.

Franchisor shall have the right to modify the provisions of this Section relating to Franchisee's use of separate websites and social media, as Franchisor determines necessary or appropriate.

Franchisee must follow Franchisor's social media policies and directives as set forth in the Manuals, including the Policy and Procedures Manual and/or Marketing Manual.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee establishes a separate website, they must adhere to Spray Net's policies, standards, and specifications regarding its creation, maintenance, and content. Spray Net considers any website owned or maintained by the franchisee as advertising and therefore subject to Spray Net's approval.

Spray Net franchisees cannot promote their franchised business, the Proprietary Marks, or the System on any social media or networking site, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, or YouTube, without obtaining Spray Net's prior written consent. Spray Net retains the right to modify the provisions regarding the franchisee's use of separate websites and social media as it deems necessary or appropriate.

Spray Net franchisees must adhere to Spray Net's social media policies and directives as outlined in the manuals, including the Policy and Procedures Manual and/or Marketing Manual. This means that while the FDD does not explicitly state that Spray Net can require franchisees to include the franchisor's website on local advertising, Spray Net maintains control over the franchisee's website and social media content.
