What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Marketing Investment, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per Designated Territory, is primarily used to increase the visibility of the franchised business and generate prospective client interest and sales appointments. These activities are intended to occur before, during, and after the opening of the Spray Net franchise. While these funds are paid to approved third-party suppliers, Spray Net expects to collect this amount directly from the franchisee.
Spray Net may retain a portion of the Initial Marketing Investment as compensation for managing the placement and suppliers associated with the initial marketing activities. This means that not all of the investment goes directly to marketing expenses; Spray Net can use some of it to cover their administrative costs in coordinating these services.
The Initial Marketing Investment is due upon the execution of the Franchise Agreement, unless Spray Net agrees otherwise in writing. This upfront payment is collected before the franchise opens, highlighting its importance in the initial stages of business development and marketing. Prospective franchisees should clarify with Spray Net the specific allocation of these funds and the criteria used to select marketing suppliers to ensure transparency and alignment with their business goals.
