- Initial Training Prior to Opening Subject to Payment of the Initial Training Fee. Franchisor will provide (a) its initial training program (the "Initial Training Program") to Franchisee (or its operating principal if Franchisee is an entity) and, if applicable, the individual that Franchisee has designated and Franchisor has approved to handle the day-to-day management of the Franchised Business (a "Designated Manager"), and (b) the appropriate components of the Initial Training Program to each additional individual that Franchisee expects or intends to engage provide certain Approved Services and Approved Products through the Franchised Business. The parties agree
and acknowledge that: (i) certain portions of the Initial Training Program will be provided by Franchisor remotely via telephone calls, webinars or other online learning management system/technology; (ii) other portions of the Initial Training Program must be attended and completed at Franchisor's headquarters, Franchisee's Premises or other designated training facility for the time period Franchisor prescribes or otherwise approves; and (iii) Franchisee shall bear all its costs and expenses incurred by Franchisee and all other trainees in connection with the Initial Training Program, including without limitation, travel, lodging, meals, local transportation and wages for any personnel.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, certain portions of the Initial Training Program are provided remotely. Specifically, Spray Net states that these remote portions will be conducted via telephone calls, webinars, or other online learning management systems or technologies.
Other parts of the Initial Training Program require in-person attendance. Franchisees or their designated managers must attend and complete these portions at Spray Net's headquarters, the franchisee's premises, or another designated training facility. The specific duration of these in-person sessions will be determined or approved by Spray Net.
It is important to note that franchisees are responsible for covering all costs and expenses associated with the Initial Training Program for themselves and any other trainees. These costs include, but are not limited to, travel, lodging, meals, local transportation, and wages for personnel attending the training.
