What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for a single territory is $54,500. This fee is payable in a lump sum upon the execution of the Franchise Agreement and is considered fully earned by Spray Net at that time. The single territory covers 75,000 households.
Spray Net offers opportunities to purchase additional territories. The initial franchise fee decreases to $45,000 for each additional territory. For example, purchasing two territories would require an initial franchise fee of $99,500, covering 150,000 households. Similarly, three territories would cost $144,500 and cover 225,000 households. Franchisees can also purchase additional population between territory levels at a rate of $0.66 per additional household, subject to Spray Net's approval.
It is important to note that the initial franchise fee is generally non-refundable, as stated in Item 5 of the FDD. However, there is an exception: if a franchisee does not complete Spray Net's initial training program to their satisfaction, Spray Net may terminate the franchise agreement and return the initial franchise fee and 50% of the training fee, provided the franchisee signs a release and confidentiality agreement. Spray Net also offers a 10% discount on the initial franchise fee to qualifying military veterans, subject to specific conditions such as providing a copy of form DD-214 and maintaining at least 51% ownership in the franchise entity if it is a corporation or LLC.
