What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to pay a monthly Production Fee for the franchisor's administration of digital marketing for their franchised business. This Production Fee is paid on the first of each month.
The FDD indicates that Spray Net may adjust this Production Fee, increasing or decreasing it based on changes in their costs for providing the related services. However, these adjustments are subject to maximum amounts, implying there is a cap on how high the fee can go. Franchisees will receive a thirty-day notice before any changes to the Production Fee are implemented.
This fee is separate from the Digital Marketing Spend, where franchisees must spend at least 75% of their Local Advertising Requirement on monthly digital marketing services. The Digital Marketing Spend is also paid to Spray Net on the first of each month, who may then provide the digital marketing services directly or engage a supplier to do so. The Production Fee covers Spray Net's administrative costs, while the Digital Marketing Spend covers the actual marketing activities.
