What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have a responsibility to protect the confidentiality of the Spray Net Manual. Spray Net considers the Manual to be confidential and requires franchisees to treat it as such.
Specifically, if a Spray Net franchisee becomes aware of any unauthorized use of the Spray Net Manual, they are obligated to inform Spray Net about it. This requirement ensures that Spray Net can take appropriate action to protect its proprietary information and intellectual property.
Additionally, if a franchisee becomes aware of any unauthorized third party using any of Spray Net's copyrighted materials, they are requested to notify Spray Net of such unauthorized use. This extends beyond just the Manual to include all copyrighted materials. This notification allows Spray Net to address potential infringements and maintain control over its brand and system. Franchisees are also responsible for ceasing the use of any outdated items or portions of the Manual if Spray Net revises its copyrighted materials.
