Answer from 2025 FDD Document

At Franchisor's request, which shall not be more often than once every five (5) years, Franchisee shall refurbish and upgrade the Approved Vehicles, any equipment thereon, and other components of the Franchised Business at its expense, to conform to the building design, trade dress, color schemes, and presentation of Proprietary Marks consistent with Franchisor's then-current standards and conditions for the System, including without limitation, redecoration, remodeling, and modifications to existing improvements, but specifically excluding vehicle wraps, lettering, and/or trade dress for those vehicles used in the operation of the Franchised business that may be updated more frequently (collectively, the "Vehicle Updates").

Franchisee shall have twelve (12) months from its receipt of Franchisor's request to complete the change, except that Franchisee is required to complete any Vehicle Updates within four (4) months of Franchisor's request.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally required to refurbish and upgrade their Approved Vehicles, any equipment on them, and other components of the Franchised Business every five years. These upgrades ensure that the franchise conforms to Spray Net's current standards for building design, trade dress, color schemes, and presentation of Proprietary Marks. This includes redecoration, remodeling, and modifications to existing improvements.

However, the refurbishment and upgrade requirement specifically excludes vehicle wraps, lettering, and/or trade dress for vehicles used in the operation of the franchised business. These "Vehicle Updates" may be updated more frequently than the standard five-year refurbishment cycle.

Spray Net requires franchisees to complete the standard refurbishment and upgrade within twelve months of receiving the request from the company. However, Vehicle Updates must be completed within four months of the request. This distinction indicates that Spray Net may update vehicle branding and appearance more often to maintain a consistent and modern brand image, while larger renovations are less frequent.
