What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the amount a franchisee must spend on local advertising is based on two factors: the number of designated territories the franchisee purchases and the length of time the franchised business has been in operation. This Local Advertising Requirement is part of an advertising/marketing plan that Spray Net approves.
Spray Net requires franchisees to spend a minimum amount on advertising and promoting their franchise within their designated territories. At least 75% of this Local Advertising Requirement must be spent on monthly digital marketing services. Franchisees are required to pay Spray Net the Digital Marketing Spend on the first of each month, and Spray Net may either provide the digital marketing services directly or engage a supplier to do so.
It is important for prospective Spray Net franchisees to understand that the franchisor has significant control over how these local advertising funds are spent. Spray Net reserves the right to direct or approve the products or services on which the franchisee spends their Local Advertising Requirement, or require the franchisee to acquire services from approved suppliers, which may include Spray Net itself. This means franchisees may have limited flexibility in choosing their own advertising methods or vendors.
