Who is the currently approved supplier for digital marketing for a Spray Net franchise?

According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to spend 75% of their Local Advertising Requirement on digital marketing, referred to as the "Digital Marketing Spend." During the term of the agreement, Spray Net is currently the only approved supplier for digital marketing services.

Spray Net retains the option to either directly provide these digital marketing services to the franchisee or contract with another supplier to fulfill them. Regardless of whether Spray Net or a contracted supplier provides the digital marketing services, the franchisee is obligated to pay Spray Net a "Production Fee." This fee covers the administrative costs associated with placing the digital advertising and is subject to a maximum cap.

For example, during the first year of operation, a Spray Net franchisee must allocate $40,000 for the Annual Local Advertising Requirement, with $30,000 designated for the Annual Digital Marketing Spend. Additionally, there is an Annual Production Fee Cap of $8,400 and an Annual Brand Fund Contribution of $10,500. These amounts change in subsequent years of operation. In the second year, the Annual Local Advertising Requirement increases to $60,000, the Annual Digital Marketing Spend to $45,000, the Annual Production Fee Cap to $12,000, and the Annual Brand Fund Contribution to $14,250.

This arrangement means that a Spray Net franchisee does not have the freedom to choose their own digital marketing vendor and must work through Spray Net or their designated supplier. The franchisee should confirm with Spray Net whether there are any approved alternative suppliers for digital marketing and clarify how the Production Fee is calculated and what specific services it covers.
