What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Development Fund can be used for internet advertising. The document specifies that the fund may cover costs and fees associated with website maintenance and development, internet advertising, and administering regional and multi-regional marketing and advertising programs. This includes purchasing website advertising and using advertising, promotion, and marketing agencies and other advisors.
Spray Net retains sole control over the creative concepts, materials, and endorsements used, as well as their geographic, market, and media placement and allocation. The advertising materials and campaigns can be in printed materials, on radio or television for local, regional, or national circulation, or through internet regional or national advertising, as Spray Net deems appropriate.
For a prospective Spray Net franchisee, this means that a portion of their contribution to the Brand Development Fund could be used for website advertising to enhance the image of the Spray Net system. However, Spray Net has the discretion to decide how the funds are allocated and used, and franchisees do not have direct control over these decisions. Franchisees are required to pay 2% of gross sales to the fund monthly.
