The Fund may be used for advertising materials/campaigns in printed materials or on radio or television for local, regional or national circulation, internet regional or national advertising, as we deem appropriate in our discretion. We and/or a regional or national advertising agency may be used to produce all advertising and marketing. (Franchise Agreement, Section 9(E)).

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Development Fund can be used for advertising materials and campaigns in printed materials. The fund can be used for local, regional, or national circulation as Spray Net deems appropriate. Spray Net has sole control over the creative concepts, materials, and endorsements used, including their geographic, market, media placement, and allocation.
The Brand Development Fund is supported by franchisee contributions of 2% of gross sales, subject to a minimum amount based on the number of designated territories purchased and the length of time the franchised business has been in operation. Spray Net will account for the Fund contributions separately from its other funds and will not use the Fund for any of its general operating expenses, except to compensate for reasonable salaries, administrative costs, third-party costs, travel expenses, and overhead incurred in administering the Fund and its programs.
Spray Net is not required to spend any of a franchisee's Fund Contributions in the Designated Territory granted under the Franchise Agreement. However, Spray Net will provide an accounting of the Fund within 120 days after its fiscal year end upon written request. Spray Net has the right to modify or discontinue the Fund as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion. During the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, Spray Net spent $594,022 of Fund Contributions, allocating approximately 25% to media production and 75% to media placement.
