What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Spray Net's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as a condition of renewing their franchise agreement, franchisees are responsible for re-imaging, renovating, refurbishing, and modernizing their Approved Vehicles and Franchised Business. This includes updates to the design, equipment, signs, interior and exterior, displays, inventory assortment and depth, fixtures, furnishings, trade dress, color scheme, presentation of trademarks and service marks, supplies, and other products and materials. These changes are necessary to meet Spray Net's current system standards, specifications, and design criteria for a newly opened franchise.
This requirement ensures that all Spray Net franchises maintain a consistent and up-to-date brand image. The franchisee bears the cost of these updates, which can be a significant expense when renewing the franchise agreement. The scope of the required updates is determined by Spray Net to align with their current brand standards.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that the initial investment is not the only time they will need to spend money on upgrades and renovations. They should factor in the potential costs of these future re-imaging and modernization efforts when evaluating the financial viability of the franchise. It is important to understand the frequency and potential cost of these required updates to accurately assess the long-term investment required to remain compliant with Spray Net's standards.
