What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Southern Steer Franchise Disclosure Document, Week One of the Initial Training Program includes several key subjects. The training covers the Southern Steer business story and company culture, product descriptions and knowledge, and POS (Point of Sale) functions.
In addition, the training includes Manager Food Handler Certification, if needed, as well as guest service training. Franchisees will also learn about meat cutting, prep/recipes, and daily operation systems.
During Week One, franchisees can expect to spend 3-5 hours in classroom training and 40-42 hours in on-the-job training. The training typically takes place in Clearwater, Florida, or another location designated by Southern Steer.
