What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Southern Steer's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor specifies the communication and transmission systems that franchisees must use for their Southern Steer Business. The franchisee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining the specified dedicated telephone lines, high-speed internet connections, and other necessary equipment and systems at their own expense.
Southern Steer franchisees must also install and maintain telephone answering systems and other telephonic devices, operating all communication and transmission systems and devices as directed by the franchisor. These specifications are detailed in the Brand Manual or provided in writing by Southern Steer.
This requirement ensures that all Southern Steer locations maintain consistent communication standards, which is common in franchising. It allows Southern Steer to control how information is transmitted and managed across all franchise locations, helping to maintain brand consistency and operational efficiency. Franchisees should carefully review the Brand Manual and any written communications from Southern Steer to understand these requirements and budget accordingly.
