What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Southern Steer's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, on-site assistance generally occurs immediately before and during the grand opening of your Southern Steer franchise. This assistance is provided by up to three trainers for a period of up to 10 days. The On-Site Assistance Fee to cover this service is $10,000.

This on-site support is a crucial element for new franchisees as it provides hands-on guidance during the critical launch phase of the business. Having experienced trainers present during this time can help ensure smooth operations, proper execution of procedures, and effective customer service. This support can be particularly valuable in mitigating potential issues that may arise during the initial days of operation.

Southern Steer will invoice you for the On-Site Assistance Fee after you have satisfactorily completed the Initial Training Program. This means that franchisees need to budget for this expense and ensure they have the funds available after completing their training but before the grand opening. This fee is nonrefundable once paid.

Prospective franchisees should consider the timing of this assistance and how it aligns with their grand opening plans. Understanding the scope of support provided during these 10 days and coordinating with the trainers effectively will be essential for a successful launch. Additionally, franchisees should clarify with Southern Steer what specific aspects of the business the on-site trainers will focus on during this period to maximize the benefits of this assistance.
