What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Southern Steer Franchise Disclosure Document, the On-Site Assistance Fee covers the cost of up to three trainers providing on-site support for a maximum of 10 days. This assistance typically occurs immediately before and during the grand opening of the Southern Steer business. The fee for this service is $10,000.
This on-site assistance is a crucial part of the initial setup, providing franchisees with expert guidance during the critical launch phase. Having experienced trainers present can help ensure that the staff is properly trained, operations run smoothly, and any initial challenges are addressed promptly. This support aims to set the franchisee up for success from day one.
The franchisee will be invoiced for the On-Site Assistance Fee after they have satisfactorily completed the Initial Training Program. This means that franchisees must first complete their training before incurring this expense, ensuring they have a foundational understanding before receiving on-site support. This fee is paid directly to Southern Steer.
