What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Southern Steer's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is restricted from operating other businesses from the Southern Steer franchise location. The franchisee must dedicate the franchised location solely to the operation of the Southern Steer Business. They cannot directly or indirectly operate or participate in any other business or activity from that location.

Southern Steer franchisees are also prohibited from participating in any dual branding program or any other program that uses another trademark, service mark, trade name, or commercial symbol in connection with their Southern Steer Business or at the franchise location. This means a franchisee cannot co-brand or operate another business alongside their Southern Steer franchise without violating the franchise agreement.

Furthermore, if the franchisee is an entity, that entity must be dedicated solely to the operation of the Southern Steer Business. The entity cannot hold any interest in, operate, or manage any other businesses without prior written approval from Southern Steer. This ensures that the franchisee's primary focus and resources are dedicated to the success of the Southern Steer franchise.
