What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Southern Steer Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchised location is described in Attachment A of the franchise agreement. If the location is not yet determined when the agreement is effective, the street address, city, and state will be added to Attachment A and signed by both Southern Steer and the franchisee once it is determined.

Southern Steer reserves the right to terminate the franchise agreement if the franchisee does not provide site information and lease a site approved by Southern Steer within 90 days of the agreement's effective date. The franchisee will also receive a nonexclusive "Protected Area," which is also defined in Attachment A.

The franchisee is expected to use the location solely for the Southern Steer business and must maintain the location in a clean and sanitary condition, consistent with Southern Steer's operating standards. The franchisee may relocate the Southern Steer business with prior written approval from Southern Steer, provided they are not in default of the agreement and meet certain conditions, such as a compelling business reason or underperformance of the current location.
