This means that Southern Steer considers its logos to be protected intellectual property. As a franchisee, you are granted the right to use these logos under the terms of the franchise agreement. However, any unauthorized use of the logos could be considered an infringement of Southern Steer's rights.
This definition extends to all manuals, the Brand Manual, the System itself, designs, marketing materials, advertising layouts, copyrights, writings, recordings, binders, videos, website content, electronic files, agreements, forms, books, software, and printed materials related to the Southern Steer business. It also encompasses any revisions, changes, modifications, and derivatives of these materials. For a prospective franchisee, this means you must adhere strictly to the guidelines provided in the Brand Manual and other communications from Southern Steer regarding the use of logos and other copyrighted materials. You'll need to obtain approval before using the logos in conjunction with any other trade name or in co-sponsoring events. Using the logos incorrectly or without authorization could lead to legal repercussions and potential damage to the Southern Steer brand. Therefore, understanding and complying with these regulations is crucial for maintaining a successful and compliant franchise operation.
