What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Southern Steer's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee, their Operating Principal, and their Designated Manager are eligible to receive the Initial Training Program. Southern Steer provides this training program, which lasts up to two weeks, after the Franchise Agreement is signed.
The Initial Training Program is provided at no additional cost to the franchisee. This training must be satisfactorily completed no later than 30 days before the scheduled opening of the Southern Steer Business. The franchise agreement also states that any new Designated Manager or Operating Principal must attend the Initial Training Program at the franchisee's sole cost and expense before being in charge of the Southern Steer Business.
Southern Steer may also require assistant store managers and other key employees to attend training at their headquarters or another designated location at the franchisee's cost and expense, including travel expenses and any then-current training fees, if the franchisee is not meeting operational standards or does not have a program to train these employees. The franchisor's approval is needed before training any assistant store managers and other key employees.
