What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Southern Steer Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has complete control over the Southern Steer Website. This includes determining all features of the website, such as the domain name, content, format, procedures, and links to other websites or applications. Southern Steer also reserves the right to modify, enhance, suspend, or discontinue the website at any time, at its sole discretion.

This means that as a franchisee, you will not have control over the content or features of the main Southern Steer Website. You are also restricted from creating your own website, mobile application, or blog to promote your Southern Steer business without prior written approval from the franchisor. This ensures brand consistency and allows Southern Steer to manage its online presence centrally.

Southern Steer also reserves the right to charge the Advertising Fund for the costs associated with maintaining or improving the Southern Steer Website. Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee's Southern Steer Business will be removed from the Southern Steer Website. This highlights the importance of adhering to the franchise agreement to maintain an online presence and benefit from the franchisor's marketing efforts.
