What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Southern Steer's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Manual explicitly includes both printed and electronic formats. This means that franchisees can expect to receive guidance, standards, and operating procedures in various forms, including digital documents, training videos, software, and online bulletins, as well as traditional printed materials.

This comprehensive approach to documentation ensures that Southern Steer franchisees have access to the most up-to-date information and resources necessary to operate their businesses effectively. The franchisor may provide access to the Brand Manual electronically, through a secure internet webpage (Intranet), or by another method they reasonably adopt. Franchisees are responsible for keeping their copy of the Brand Manual current. In case of any dispute, the master copy maintained by Southern Steer will be controlling.

The ability to deliver the Brand Manual in electronic format allows Southern Steer to update and modify the System more efficiently, ensuring that franchisees are always following the most current best practices. Franchisees will be notified of changes via methods like email, intranet postings, mail, teleconferences, or fax. Franchisees are responsible for implementing these changes at their own cost within the specified timeframe.

It's important to note that the Brand Manual remains the sole property of Southern Steer, and franchisees are prohibited from making copies or disseminating it. Franchisees can only use the Brand Manual for operating their Southern Steer Business. This underscores the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the information contained within the Brand Manual.
