What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Southern Steer's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, qualified candidates have the opportunity to develop additional Southern Steer businesses within a designated geographic area. This opportunity is subject to Southern Steer's approval, which may be withheld at their discretion.

The agreement that facilitates this development is called the multi-unit development agreement, or MUDA. If approved, candidates are required to sign the MUDA at the same time they sign the Franchise Agreement for their first Southern Steer Business.

The MUDA mandates that the franchisee open a minimum of three Southern Steer businesses within their Development Territory within a specified timeframe, known as the Development Schedule. For each Southern Steer Business developed under the MUDA, a separate Franchise Agreement must be signed, and the form of this agreement may differ from the initial franchise agreement.
