What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Punch King Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program is tuition-free for the franchisee and their Designated Manager. However, Punch King Fitness may charge a fee for attendance at the initial training for new and replacement managers. The current fee for replacement and new managers is $500 per attendee. Franchisees are responsible for covering all travel, lodging, and other costs associated with attending the initial training.

This means that while the initial franchisee and their designated manager receive free tuition for the initial training, any subsequent managers or replacements will incur a $500 fee per person. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as it covers the costs associated with training additional personnel beyond the original franchisee.

Prospective Punch King Fitness franchisees should factor this potential cost into their operating budget, especially if they anticipate needing to replace or add managers in the future. It is also important to note that this fee is in addition to the travel, lodging, and other expenses that the franchisee is responsible for covering for all attendees.
