What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Punch King Fitness FDD, the cost of initial training for the franchisee and their designated manager is included in the initial franchise fee. However, the franchisee is responsible for travel and stay expenses during the initial training. If additional trainees are required beyond the franchisee and their designee, there is an additional tuition fee. This tuition is currently $500 per training, per person, and $500 per day plus travel expenses for onsite training. Monies paid for travel may be refundable if the franchisee has or purchases travel insurance or by policy of the hotel or airline.
Based on the table provided in Item 7, the initial franchise fee of $50,000 is due upon signing the Franchise Agreement. This fee covers the initial training costs for the franchisee and one designated manager. Any additional training costs for extra personnel would be due at the time the training is scheduled. The franchisee should factor in the cost of travel and accommodation for themselves and their manager, as these are not covered by the initial franchise fee.
Prospective Punch King Fitness franchisees should inquire about the specific details of the training program, including the location, duration, and any additional costs that may be incurred. It is also advisable to check with airlines and hotels regarding their refund policies in case travel plans need to be changed or canceled. Understanding these costs and payment schedules is crucial for budgeting and financial planning when starting a Punch King Fitness franchise.
