You may relocate the Site of your Franchised Business so long the new Site meets our then-current Site requirements, and you reimburse us for any costs and expenses we incur in your relocation. Currently, for relocation and Site selection, the Site must be approved by us, and we provide building specifications for your real property space, we review your design plans, you must retain a licensed architect, and you must obtain a feasibility study prepared by a qualified third party. You are obligated to reimburse us for any cost and expense we incur reviewing or approving your relocation as a relocation fee.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Punch King Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may relocate their training facility site if the new location meets the franchisor's current site requirements. However, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Punch King Fitness for all costs and expenses incurred during the relocation process. This reimbursement is referred to as a relocation fee.
Site selection and relocation require Punch King Fitness's approval. The franchisee must adhere to building specifications, submit design plans for review, retain a licensed architect, and obtain a feasibility study from a qualified third party. The relocation fee covers any costs and expenses that Punch King Fitness incurs while reviewing and approving the relocation.
In practical terms, this means that if a Punch King Fitness franchisee wants to move their business to a new location, they will not only have to cover the direct costs of the move itself, but also any expenses that Punch King Fitness incurs in evaluating and approving the new site. This could include costs related to site visits, plan reviews, and other administrative tasks. Franchisees should carefully consider these potential costs before deciding to relocate their business.
It is important for prospective franchisees to discuss potential relocation costs with Punch King Fitness to fully understand the financial implications of moving their training facility. Understanding these costs upfront can help franchisees make informed decisions about their business and avoid unexpected expenses.
