- (b) Such on-site evaluation as Franchisor may deem advisable in response to Franchisee's requests for site approval; provided, however, that Franchisor shall not provide on-site evaluation for any proposed site prior to the receipt of a completed SAP for such site prepared by Franchisee pursuant to this Addendum above.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Punch King Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, an on-site evaluation is not strictly required for site approval. However, Punch King Fitness may deem it advisable in response to a franchisee's request, but only after receiving a completed site approval package (SAP) from the franchisee.
If Punch King Fitness considers an on-site evaluation necessary and appropriate, it will conduct up to two evaluations at no charge for franchisees developing their first Punch King Fitness location. For franchisees who have previously opened a Punch King Fitness franchise, only one on-site evaluation will be conducted at no charge.
This suggests that while not mandatory, Punch King Fitness offers on-site support during the site selection process, particularly valuing it for new franchisees. This can be a significant benefit, as site selection is crucial for the success of a franchise. Franchisees should submit a comprehensive SAP to increase the likelihood of receiving this additional support.
