Is the initial franchise fee for Punch King Fitness refundable?

According to Punch King Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee of $50,000 is considered fully earned and is nonrefundable. Furthermore, franchisees must pay between $30,000 to $150,000 for a Startup Package, which includes essential equipment like punching bags and training gear. This Startup Package fee is also nonrefundable.

While the initial fees are generally nonrefundable, Punch King Fitness does offer certain discounts on the initial franchise fee. Honorably discharged U.S. military veterans and qualifying minority-owned franchisees may be eligible for a $20,000 discount, while qualifying Punch King Fitness franchisees and employees may receive a $10,000 discount. However, the FDD states that Punch King Fitness reserves the option to discontinue these discounts or offer new discounts in the future.
