What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Punch King Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to obtain a feasibility study. Specifically, Punch King Fitness provides building specifications for the franchisee's real property space and reviews the design plans. The franchisee is then required to retain a licensed architect and obtain a feasibility study prepared by a qualified third party.
This feasibility study is part of the site approval package that franchisees must submit to Punch King Fitness within 60 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. The site approval package also includes a site approval form, an option contract, a letter of intent, photographs of the site, demographic statistics, and any other information Punch King Fitness may require.
The purpose of the feasibility study is to assess the viability of the proposed location for a Punch King Fitness franchise. This helps ensure that franchisees invest in locations with a high potential for success, aligning with Punch King Fitness's interest in maintaining uniform and high operating standards across all franchise locations. Punch King Fitness retains the right to approve or disapprove the proposed site within 30 days of receiving the complete site approval package, and failure to respond within this timeframe results in the site being deemed disapproved.
