What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Punch King Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted to selling only goods and services that have been approved by the company. Franchisees must offer and sell only those products and services authorized by Punch King Fitness, as specified in the Punch King Fitness Operating Manual or designated in writing by the company. Punch King Fitness retains the right to change, add, and delete products or services from the approved list at any time and may also designate certain products or services as optional.

This policy ensures brand consistency and quality control across all Punch King Fitness franchise locations. It allows Punch King Fitness to maintain a uniform standard of offerings and prevents franchisees from introducing products or services that may not align with the brand's image or quality standards. Franchisees need to stay updated with any changes to the approved products and services list, as Punch King Fitness can modify it at any time.

Furthermore, franchisees are restricted from using other distribution channels, such as the internet, catalog sales, or telemarketing, unless they obtain written consent from Punch King Fitness. This restriction extends to advertising, soliciting, and accepting orders outside the designated territory without written consent. If a franchisee is granted permission to serve another area, they are obligated to pay royalty fees and other fees for the services performed or products sold in that area. These restrictions are typical in franchising to protect the brand and maintain consistent operations across all locations.
