What This Means (2024 FDD)

Based on the 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the FDD does not explicitly detail specific staffing requirements for a Punch King Fitness franchise. However, it does emphasize the importance of training for the Designated Manager and other personnel. If a franchisee's Designated Manager leaves, a replacement must be designated within 45 days, meeting Punch King Fitness's training requirements. Punch King Fitness also reserves the right to review franchisee-trained personnel and require them to attend initial training programs.

Furthermore, Punch King Fitness may require franchisees, their managers, employees, and contractors to attend refresher courses, seminars, and other training programs periodically. Franchisees are responsible for covering expenses like transportation, lodging, meals, wages, and worker's compensation insurance for their staff during training. The FDD also states that franchisees must ensure their staff adheres to Punch King Fitness's methods to maintain uniformity and quality of service.

To understand the specific staffing levels and roles Punch King Fitness expects a franchisee to maintain, prospective franchisees should directly ask the franchisor for details on recommended or required staffing levels, job descriptions, and any specific certifications or qualifications needed for different positions within the franchise. This information is crucial for budgeting labor costs and ensuring smooth operations.
