What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Punch King Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, after executing the Franchise Agreement, franchisees are encouraged to schedule their training as soon as possible. It is important to schedule training promptly because Punch King Fitness will not be liable for any costs or expenses if the Franchise Agreement is terminated due to the franchisee not completing the mandatory training to Punch King Fitness's satisfaction.
Initial training is provided tuition-free and includes orientation to the Punch King Fitness system, customer service, operational management, financial management, computer software use, advertising, marketing, and reporting procedures. The training lasts up to 2 weeks, depending on the franchisee's experience level. Training is not scheduled regularly but will be offered before the opening of the Franchised Business.
The franchisee and their Designated Manager must attend and successfully complete the initial training 30 days before the opening of the Franchised Business. The franchisee is responsible for all expenses incurred to attend the initial training, including wages, benefits, transportation, meals, accommodations, and entertainment. Punch King Fitness may charge a fee of $500 per attendee for initial training for new and replacement managers.
