What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the training center, referred to as "TC", is located at the company's headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. However, the training also includes on-the-job training at a Pump It Up facility or any location the company specifies, including virtual training.
Initial training is mandatory for franchisees or their Operating Principal before opening their location. This training must be completed after signing a lease for the premises. If a franchisee operates multiple Pump It Up businesses, they are not required to complete the initial training program more than once, unless Pump It Up determines it is necessary.
Pump It Up may also require franchisees or their Operating Principal to attend and complete various training courses periodically at designated times and locations, including conventions, regional meetings, and conferences such as the Annual Franchise Meeting. These courses may be held in person or virtually. Franchisees are responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred during these training courses and programs. Additionally, Pump It Up may require the use of online training programs for franchisees and their staff members through manuals and other online platforms.
