What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Pump It Up FDD, the Site Evaluation Fee is nonrefundable. As part of the site selection process, Pump It Up may require a franchisee to pay this fee for an on-site evaluation of a potential location.

Pump It Up may charge $500 per day for the first on-site evaluation and any subsequent evaluations for the same franchise. In addition to the fee, the franchisee must reimburse Pump It Up for all travel, living, and other expenses incurred during the site evaluation. The franchisee must pay the Site Evaluation Fee and related expenses within five days of receiving an invoice.

It's important to note that Pump It Up is not obligated to conduct an on-site evaluation, even if the franchisee pays the fee. The franchisor's decision to conduct an evaluation is at their discretion. The estimated initial investment includes amounts for the Site Evaluation Fee, with $0 assuming no on-site evaluation and $2,500 assuming a two-day evaluation with $1,500 in reimbursable expenses. Given the nonrefundable nature of the fee, franchisees should carefully consider their site selection and the likelihood of needing an on-site evaluation by Pump It Up.
