What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 Pump It Up Franchise Disclosure Document states that Pump It Up reserves the right to visit and inspect the premises during construction to confirm compliance with obligations. The FDD does not specify a requirement to provide prior notice to the franchisee before conducting such inspections during the construction phase.

This means that as a Pump It Up franchisee, you should expect that Pump It Up may conduct on-site inspections of your franchise location while it is being built. These inspections are intended to ensure that the construction aligns with Pump It Up's standards and specifications.

Since the FDD excerpt only addresses inspections during construction, it remains unclear whether Pump It Up has to provide advance notice for inspections conducted after the franchise location is open and operational. As a prospective franchisee, it would be prudent to clarify Pump It Up's standard practices regarding inspections and whether franchisees receive advance notice of these visits.
