What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, new managerial personnel must satisfactorily complete the required training programs within 90 days of being designated as such. There are two options for completing this training. First, new managerial personnel can attend the next training program offered by Pump It Up. Alternatively, they can be trained by the franchisee's own training personnel.
This requirement ensures that all managerial staff are adequately prepared to uphold Pump It Up's standards. By mandating training within 90 days, Pump It Up aims to quickly integrate new managers into the system, ensuring consistent operational quality and customer experience.
The flexibility of choosing between franchisor-led training and in-house training allows franchisees to tailor the training approach to their specific needs and resources. Franchisees can leverage their existing training infrastructure to onboard new managers or opt for the franchisor's program for a standardized training experience. However, Pump It Up may charge a fee for employees attending the initial training program, even those repeating training.
