What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Opening Training is completed at the franchisee's location during the "Soft Opening." This period includes up to three days before the location opens to the public and the first two days after opening. During this time, a Pump It Up training representative may visit the franchise to review daily operations. Pump It Up retains the right to modify the training at any time and may provide this assistance via video conference or other online means at their discretion.

Pump It Up does not require the franchisee to pay additional travel or living expenses for the representative during Opening Training. However, if the franchisee reschedules the opening, they must reimburse Pump It Up for any travel costs incurred due to changes in personnel travel schedules. Should the franchisee request additional or special guidance during this phase, and Pump It Up agrees to provide it, the franchisee must pay the applicable charges, including fees for personnel and their travel and living expenses.

This on-site opening assistance is distinct from the initial training program, which must be completed before the franchise opens. The initial training program is mandatory for all franchisees and covers various aspects of operating a Pump It Up Business. The franchisor will not authorize the franchise to open if the franchisee (or their Operating Principal) and managerial personnel have not successfully completed the initial training program.
