What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Pump It Up has the right to change or modify the System, including the Manuals, the System, and the System Standards. These changes may be communicated through amendments to the Manuals or through regular communications. The System Standards may regulate pricing requirements for the services and products that a Pump It Up Business sells, to the extent allowed by law.
This means that as a franchisee, you must stay updated on any changes Pump It Up makes to its operating procedures, standards, and pricing. These updates can come through various channels, including revised manuals and routine communications from the franchisor. It is crucial to regularly review these updates to ensure your business complies with the latest requirements.
The ability of Pump It Up to modify the System and System Standards is a fairly standard practice in franchising, allowing the franchisor to adapt to changing market conditions, improve operational efficiency, and maintain brand consistency. However, it also means that franchisees must be flexible and prepared to implement changes as directed by the franchisor. Franchisees should pay close attention to communications from Pump It Up to stay informed about any modifications to the System.
Prospective franchisees should consider the implications of these potential changes and how they might affect their business operations and profitability. It would be prudent to inquire about the frequency and nature of past changes to the System Standards to better understand the potential for future modifications and their impact on franchisees.
