What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is not required to be a member of more than one Regional Co-op Fund with respect to their Franchised Business. Once a Regional Co-op Fund is established in the Designated Market Area (DMA) where the franchised business is located, the franchisee must become a member and contribute the amount determined by the members of the Regional Co-op Fund. This contribution is due no later than 30 days after the Regional Co-op Fund begins operation.
Pump It Up may establish a Regional Co-op Fund in any DMA at its sole discretion. The Regional Co-op Fund is designed to administer regional marketing programs and develop standardized promotional materials for use by its members in local advertising, subject to Pump It Up's approval. All advertising and marketing materials must be submitted to Pump It Up prior to use and must adhere to the standards set forth in the FDD.
Pump It Up is a member of all Regional Co-op Funds and is entitled to attend and participate in meetings, but does not have a vote unless Pump It Up or its affiliates operate a Pump It Up Business in the area covered by the Regional Co-op Fund. If the members of the Regional Co-op are unable to decide how to spend the funds, Pump It Up may assume decision-making authority after providing 10 days' advance written notice to the members.
