Among other things, you are expected to: (i) display prominent signage at or near the front of the location on any pylon sign, building directory or other area identifying the location as a Franchised Business; (ii) display all safety signage as directed by us or the manufacturer of attractions, rides or inflatables, which may not be removed without our express written consent; and (iii) erect, maintain, repair and replace such interior and exterior signs and graphics as PIU may require from time to time.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must display all safety signage as directed by Pump It Up or the manufacturer of the attractions, rides, or inflatables. A Pump It Up franchisee is not allowed to remove any safety signage without express written consent from Pump It Up.
This requirement ensures that all Pump It Up locations maintain a consistent standard of safety, reducing potential risks and liabilities. It also protects the brand's reputation by ensuring that safety protocols are strictly followed across all franchised businesses.
Failure to comply with these signage requirements could lead to the franchisor requiring the franchisee to make corrections. If the franchisee fails to take action within 30 days, Pump It Up reserves the right to enter the premises and make the corrections themselves, with the franchisee responsible for reimbursing all expenses incurred. In situations where the franchisor determines that the continued operation of the franchised business poses an imminent danger to public health or safety, Pump It Up may terminate the agreement or require the franchisee to temporarily close the business to make necessary repairs or alterations.
