What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, guidelines for social media use are found in the Manuals and in other written communications that may be amended from time to time. These guidelines apply to the franchisee's use, as well as the use of their employees, when related to their employment, the brand's trademarks, or the facilities. Pump It Up may also require franchisees to participate in company marketing initiatives, including the use of specific social media platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, and Pinterest.

Pump It Up maintains control over a franchisee's online presence. Franchisees must get written consent before using the brand's marks on any domain name, URL, email address, website, or social media platform. Pump It Up can grant or withhold consent, or set requirements such as approving domain names, website content, hyperlinks, and use of third-party materials. Pump It Up also retains primary administration rights for the franchisee's social media platforms, including Facebook, X (Twitter), Yelp, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

These stipulations ensure that Pump It Up maintains a consistent brand image and controls marketing efforts across all franchise locations. Franchisees must adhere to these guidelines to avoid violating the franchise agreement and to ensure that their social media activities align with the brand's overall marketing strategy. This also allows Pump It Up to monitor and manage the online reputation of all its franchise locations, ensuring quality control and consistency in messaging.
