Your use (as well as the use of your employees in conjunction with their employment or involving the Marks or facilities) of any social media platform should be consistent with our guidelines for use of social media that we will provide you in the Manuals and in other writings that we may amend from time to time.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, guidelines for social media use are found in the Manuals and in other writings that Pump It Up may amend from time to time. These guidelines are applicable to the franchisee and their employees when using social media platforms in conjunction with their employment or involving the Pump It Up marks or facilities.

Pump It Up may require franchisees to participate in company marketing initiatives, including the use of social media platforms such as Facebook, X (Twitter), Google My Business, Yelp, and Pinterest. Franchisees are prohibited from developing or maintaining any website or online presence that mentions or describes Pump It Up, the franchisee, or the franchised business, or displays any of the Pump It Up marks without prior written consent from Pump It Up. All advertising, promotion, and marketing must be clear, factual, and not misleading, adhering to ethical standards and Pump It Up's prescribed advertising and marketing policies.

Pump It Up also reserves the right to set up social media accounts for the franchisee within 60 days prior to the opening of the Pump It Up Franchised Business. These accounts may include platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), Yelp, Instagram, TikTok, and/or Snapchat, intended to assist in the initial promotion of the business. Franchisees must identify Pump It Up as the primary administrator and provide primary administration rights for any social media or digital marketing accounts used in conjunction with the franchised business. Franchisees are expected to ensure their employees are aware of and comply with Pump It Up's social media policies.
