You would like to obtain a license to use the System and the Marks and to operate a franchised Pump It Up Business (the "Franchised Business") at the location specified in Exhibit 1 (the "Premises"), subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and in strict compliance with the high and uniform standards of quality, operations and service established by us for the System (the "System Standards").

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Pump It Up Franchise Disclosure Document, the location of the franchised Pump It Up business is referred to as both the "Premises" and the "Franchised Business" within the franchise agreement. The franchisee will operate the Franchised Business at the location specified in Exhibit 1, which is also referred to as the Premises.
The FDD emphasizes that franchisees must strictly adhere to Pump It Up's standards for quality, operations, and service at this location. If the specific location hasn't been determined by the effective date of the agreement, the franchisee is responsible for selecting a site within a designated area outlined in Exhibit 1, called the "Site Selection Area".
Pump It Up provides site selection guidelines to assist franchisees in this process, but the franchisee bears all costs associated with securing and developing the site. The franchisor's written approval is mandatory before any binding commitments are made for the location. Failing to secure an approved site within a specified timeframe could lead to termination of the agreement.
