What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement can be found in Exhibit C. Item 1 of the FDD states that for each Franchised Business, a franchisee must sign a separate Pump It Up Franchise Agreement (Exhibit C). This indicates that Exhibit C contains the full standard agreement that Pump It Up uses when establishing a new franchise.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibit C to understand their obligations, Pump It Up's responsibilities, and the terms and conditions of the franchise relationship. Key aspects to examine include the length of the agreement, renewal terms, fees, termination conditions, and any clauses regarding dispute resolution.
It is also important to note that addenda to the Pump It Up Franchise Agreement may be required for franchisees in certain states such as New York, Washington and Wisconsin. These addenda, included in the FDD, modify specific sections of the standard agreement to comply with state laws, and should be reviewed carefully to understand any additional rights or obligations that may apply based on the franchisee's location.
