What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a Design Review Fee of $2,000. This fee covers the preliminary design drawings of the Pump It Up Business, which must be reviewed by the Pump It Up design team. This review is mandatory, and franchisees must receive written notice of non-objection before proceeding with construction. The fee is paid during the design phase, prior to construction, and is payable to Pump It Up or its affiliates.
Pump It Up does reserve the right to reduce or waive this fee at their discretion on a case-by-case basis. Once the design drawings are approved, the franchisee is responsible for sending them to their chosen architect to prepare the construction drawings.
The Design Review Fee is part of the initial investment a franchisee will make when opening a Pump It Up location. It is important to note that fees paid to Pump It Up are generally non-refundable, except for the Initial Franchise Fee, which may be refundable in limited circumstances as described in Item 5 of the FDD.
