What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pump It Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the $2,000 Design Review Fee is nonrefundable. This fee is for Pump It Up's review of the preliminary design drawings for the franchisee's Pump It Up Business.
The FDD states that once Pump It Up provides a notice of non-objection to the design drawings, the franchisee will send the drawings to their chosen architect to prepare construction drawings. This process is mandatory before construction can begin.
However, Pump It Up does reserve the right to reduce or waive this fee at its sole discretion on a case-by-case basis. This means that while the fee is generally nonrefundable, there may be circumstances where Pump It Up chooses to waive or reduce it for a particular franchisee.
