What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Precision Door Service Franchise Disclosure Document, Schedule A, also known as the Data Sheet, is part of the Franchise Agreement. While the document does not explicitly state a deadline for completing Schedule A, it does state that the Franchise Agreement becomes effective as of the Effective Date. The Franchise Agreement includes the Data Sheet attached as Schedule A. The agreement is not binding or enforceable until Precision Door Service signs it.
Furthermore, the FDD states that a Precision Door Service franchisee must begin operating their business within 6 months of the date that Precision Door Service signs the Franchise Agreement. However, the franchisee may not commence operations until they have satisfactorily completed the training program and complied with other pre-opening obligations.
In summary, while there is no explicit deadline for completing Schedule A, it is implied that it should be completed before the Franchise Agreement's effective date and before the franchisee begins operations, which must occur within 6 months of Precision Door Service signing the agreement. A prospective franchisee should confirm the specific requirements and deadlines for completing Schedule A with Precision Door Service during their due diligence.
