What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Precision Door Service Franchise Disclosure Document, Schedule B contains the form of the Confidentiality Agreement. This agreement is entered into by individuals associated with an entity intending to become a Precision Door Service franchisee, such as owners, officers, or directors. The agreement is for the benefit of Precision Door Service SPV LLC and its affiliates that offer and sell franchises.
The Confidentiality Agreement outlines that Precision Door Service will grant the franchisee a license to use its trademarks, service marks, logos, and methods of operation (the "System") to operate a franchised business in a specified geographical area. The agreement ensures that confidential information regarding Precision Door Service's business practices and trade secrets remains protected.
By signing the Confidentiality Agreement, the individual acknowledges the importance of maintaining the secrecy of Precision Door Service's proprietary information. This is a standard practice in franchising to protect the franchisor's brand and operational methods. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the terms of the Confidentiality Agreement to understand their obligations regarding the use and disclosure of confidential information, both during the franchise term and after its termination.
