Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Legacy Renewal Rider
This Legacy Renewal Rider (this "Rider") is entered into by and between PRECISION DOOR
SERVICE SPV LLC, a Delaware limited liability company having a principal place of business at 2395
Washington Avenue, Suite 5, Titusville, Florida 32780 ("Franchisor" or "we"), and,
individually, having an address of ("Franchisee" or "you"),
effective as of the effective date of the Franchise Agreement (as defined below).
A.
Simultaneously herewith, Franchisor and Franchisee are entering into a Franchise
Agreement pursuant to which Franchisee, as part of a franchise renewal, receives the right and obligation
to continue to operate a Precision Garage Door franchised business (the "Business") located at
(the "Franchise Agreement").
B.
Because the Franchise Agreement is executed by Franchisee as part of a franchise renewal,
Franchisee's original franchise agreement was dated on or before December 31, 2020, and Franchisee
previously signed an amendment to the original franchise agreement (the "Legacy Amendment"), which,
among other things, provided that upon renewal Franchisee receives certain favorable terms, the parties are
entering into this Rider to document the favorable terms that Franchisee is receiving as part of this franchise
renewal.
Now, therefore, the parties agree that the Franchise Agreement is amended as follows:

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Precision Door Service Franchise Disclosure Document, the Legacy Renewal Rider is used when a franchisee renews their franchise agreement. Specifically, it applies to franchisees whose original agreements were dated on or before December 31, 2020, and who had previously signed an amendment (the "Legacy Amendment") that provided certain favorable terms upon renewal.

The purpose of the Legacy Renewal Rider is to formally document the favorable terms that the franchisee is entitled to receive as part of their franchise renewal. This ensures that both Precision Door Service and the franchisee are clear on the specific benefits and conditions that apply to the renewal agreement based on the franchisee's prior agreement and amendments.

In essence, the Legacy Renewal Rider serves as an amendment to the new Franchise Agreement, outlining the specific, pre-existing terms that the franchisee retains due to their original agreement and subsequent Legacy Amendment. This provides clarity and legal documentation of the continued benefits for franchisees who meet the specified criteria, ensuring a smooth transition during the renewal process.
